What Is Effective Altruism?
Effective Altruism is all about using evidence and reason to assess how to benefit others as much as possible, and then taking action based on the findings. Our club is part of a global movement focused on integrating this evidence-based reasoning into career guidance, as well as providing a space for truth-seeking discussions on how to most effectively improve the lives of others.

What Do We Do?
Effective Altruism Purdue aims to help students orient their careers around finding the best ways to help others and putting them into practice. We host discussions, go to global conferences, and facilitate connections with effective altruists around the world. Currently, we are organizing an Intro to Effective Altruism seminar (check back here for the link!), as well as socials for more casual discussions of topics of interest.
